- Your favourite song-
I’ve thought long and hard about what my ultimate favourite song is at this point in time. And I continue to reach the same conclusion. I dont know why exactly I like it more than any other song, but Signs by Bloc Party is most definately my number one choice. I saw Bloc Party perform this song in sydney, and it just reconfirmed my love for it. It’s so hauntingly beautiful, and makes me tingle all over everytime i hear it, without fail. I was talking to my best friend the other day about a lot of hypothetical questions, one of which, as horrible as it may sound, was “If you were to die right now, what song would you want played at your funeral?” Well of course, the relevance of this story is that this is the song i would choose. Firstly because as I’ve already said, it’s my favourite song. But also because i think it will make people cry, and who am I kidding, I want people to be a blubbering mess when I’m gone, even though I’d be none the wiser. I’m bad. But the song is wonderful.
